SRU Woman's Soccer Game
This past Saturday (9-12-09) I spent my afternoon watching the SRU woman's soccer team play a very exciting game against Clarion. If you were not at the game, it was tied 0-0 for a majority of the game until with about a minute and a half left SRU scored a goal! They held their lead for that last grueling minute or so. Both teams were extremely aggressive and put their everything into each second of the game which made it all the more enjoyable to watch. Also, their passing and ball control skills were great. Good luck with this season to all SRU athletes!

I have heard good things about the women's and men's soccer teams. It seems that all the way around in athletics this year the Rock will be making some noise. The football team is 3-0 too. Being a physical education major I am glad to see our athletic teams doing well. I would like to watch a couple games this year to see first hand how we look. Keep up the good work Rock athletes!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a great game. I do not get to go to many of the SRU athletic events because I am usually busy with other activities. Some of the soccer girls live beside me at campus side and they always stop by and let us know how they did. It is nice to see some people do go and support the team. Good luck SRU!
ReplyDeleteI have been hearing that the boys and girls soccer teams have been doing good this year. I have been to one guys soccer game this year. I haven't had a chance to make it to a girls game yet. I plan on doing that soon. I hope all SRU athletes are doing good this year!
